PROJECT: HEALTHY WORKSPACE
[CORPORATE DESIGN]

[PROJECT DESCRIPTION]

Green buildings have become a popular term in the industry. The term focuses on a building’s efficiencies on energy, water and waste. However, the inhabitants of the building were never considered.
people spend around 90% of their time indoors, thus it is imperative that we focus on a more ‘human-centred’ approach. This means that the focus would be put on the occupant of the space and not just the building’s structure. For when the well-being is taken care of by the user of the space, the well-being of the space is being looked after.
Booking.com requested this ‘human-centred’ concept of designing a greener interior space for their employees.

MY OUTCOME
The theme of this office space reflects South Africa for its key trademark, being its wildlife lifestyle. This modern and rigid concept combined with a modern sleek design would be the best approach to this office space.
This style is also very popular within other booking.com franchises for they incorporate the culture with modern design philosophy.
